What to Expect

Injectable fillers come in many different types. Dr. Kay offers a full range of fillers for various needs:

• JUVÉDERM®: A hyaluronic acid (HA) filler that replenishes lost soft tissue volume to eliminate pronounced wrinkles.
• Restylane®: A more cohesive HA filler than JUVÉDERM® that’s ideal for building up volume.
• Perlane™: Slightly thicker than Restylane®, Perlane™ may offer results that last a bit longer.
• RADIESSE®: A gel filler containing microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite that stimulate more collagen production for longer-lasting results.

Injectable fillers typically take no more than 30 minutes and so can be done as a lunchtime treatment. Usually no anesthetic is required.
